How do I get access to the Zoom meetings?
All participants (audience, authors, session chair, Zoom-responsible) have to be registered and logged in to the conference to get access to the Zoom-meetings. Log in information was sent via mail from firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cannot find the email or have issues logging in, please contact us at email@example.com. When you log in, you will be able to get access to the papers and when the conference starts, to join the different sessions using the "Join" button in each session. As a presenting author, how should I show my slides?
You will share your screen to show your presentation (to share screen in Zoom, check https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362153-Sharing-your-screen-content-or-second-camera).
How long time do I have for my presentation?
The presenting author should use maximum 12-15 minutes to present their paper and the remaining 5-8 minutes for questions.
Is it possible to move between the parallel paper sessions?
Yes. Each paper has 25 minutes allocated, of which 20 may be used by the presenter/author and the remaining 5 minutes are for allowing the audience to change paper session stream.
Is there a template for the presentations?
No. Use a standard presentation template from your organisation.
I experience low video quality during the Zoom meeting. What can I do?
Try to use a wired connection instead of WiFi. Try connecting to a different network if available. If you have a download running in the background, pause it. You can also try turning off your camera in Zoom.
Is it possible to show a video with sound during my presentation?
Ensure to tick the box Share computer sound in the window appearing when selecting Share Screen in Zoom. Please check Zoom instruction, https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362153-Sharing-your-screen-content-or-second-camera.
Is there a standard background I can use in Zoom during the presentation?
